Rangoli contest as part of Save Heritage campaign

Bijapur: Poonam Y.M., Tejashwini Darbar and Soumya Kulkarni of SB Arts and KCP Science College have won the first, second and third prizes, respectively, in the rangoli competition organised as part of Save Heritage campaign here on Saturday.

They were given away cash prize of Rs. 3,000, Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 1,000 respectively.

The event was organised jointly by the Heritage Club of SB Arts and KCP Science College, the Arya Trust of Hubli and the Forum of Young Artists. The Save Heritage campaign was launched by the Heritage Club and the Arya Trust.

Principal of the college B.G. Math presented the certificates and cash awards to the winners of the rangoli contest.

Honorary president of Arya Trust H.G. Daddi, Heritage Club secretary R.H. Bidari, president of the Forum for Artists Maane, Prashant Mareguddi of Geetanjali Jewellers, students and staff members of the SB Arts and KCP Science College were present.
