Idukki in command

THODUPUZHA: Idukki was in command against Thrissur at the end of the opening day's play in the Central Zone under-14 inter-district cricket tournament at the St. George HSS ground here on Friday.

The scores: Thrissur 126 in 40.3 overs (B.A. Athif 43, Mohammad Rasal four for 39, Ananthakrishnan three for 30) v Idukki 157 for four in 52.1 overs (K.D. Brofin 42, T.S. Vishnu 35 no) .
