Sargunam scores unbeaten ton

KOCHI: An unbeaten century by S. Thalaivan Sargunam (117 not out) enabled Kenwood Packers Legend CC to enter the final of the 60th Airtel Pooja cricket tournament at the Palace Oval here on Saturday.

The scores: Kenwood Packers Legend CC (Kottayam) 236 for three in 45 overs (S. Thalaivan Sargunam 117 n.o., S. Anand Subramanian 79) bt AG's Cricket Club (Thrissur) 134 in 37.5 overs (P.M. Vishnu 40, A.A. Uvaise 39, C.P. Rizvan four for 15) .
