Weighing problems
NEW DELHI: The weighing in of boxers at the Commonwealth Games here saw some confusion as some of the boxers, particularly those from Australia, questioned the accuracy of the weighing machines.
They alleged that the machines showed the boxers to be heavier than they were.
In some cases this resulted in the boxers going over the weight limit for their class.
Officials conducting the procedure however denied that there was anything wrong with the machines and said that the boxers had not kept their body weight under control.
It was later decided to conduct weighing in on Tuesday morning.
