‘Childhood' film festival

Kozhikode: The Farook College association of sociology, as part of the diamond jubilee celebrations of the college, is organising a three-day workshop and film festival with ‘childhood' as its theme on the campus from October 13 to 15.

The film festival, which will be inaugurated by child artiste Baby Raihan on Wednesday, will feature internationally acclaimed films such as ‘Wild Child' (France), ‘Where is My Friends' House' (Iran), ‘Pather Panchali' (Bengali), ‘The Cup' (Tibet), ‘The Way Home' (Korea), ‘Turtles Can Fly' (Iraq) and ‘Innocent Voice' (El Salvador).

Film-maker Adoor Gopalakrishnan will be present at the programmes on Thursday.
