Short-term training course at KCT

COIMBATORE: The Department of Biotechnology of Kumaraguru College of Technology will organise a short-term training course in “Proteomics Techniques in Biotechnology” from November 22 to December 4.

According to a release, teachers of life sciences and biotechnology handling undergraduate degree courses are eligible to attend.

Lectures

The course work will consist of lectures, practical sessions and hands-on training. It will deal with protein techniques like 2D gel electrophoresis, HPLC, aqueous two and three phase extractions, ion-exchange, gel-filtration and affinity chromatography and others.
