BANGALORE: BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) emerged champions in the 13th M.S. Ramaiah memorial inter-engineering colleges' cricket tournament at the BEL ground here on Monday. BMSCE downed BIT by four wickets. Batting first, BIT managed 207 for nine in its 45 overs with Karan Rao leading the way with an unbeaten 82 (13x4, 2x6). BMSCE overhauled the target making 211 for six in just 38.2 overs. Karan also claimed two wickets for 22 runs. The scores: Final: BIT 207 for nine in 45 overs (Akshay Dev 45, Satish C 43; Prashanth three for 35) lost to BMSCE 211 for six in 38.2 overs (Karan Rao n.o. 82, S.K. Rahul 67; V. Prathvi three for 56) .
