Bomb hoax at Biocon

Bangalore: There was panic for a while at Biocon off Hosur Road in Hebbagodi police station limits on Monday morning when an unidentified caller informed its office about a bomb placed on the premises.

The bomb disposal squad and dog squads scoured the area for six hours before determining it was a hoax call.

The Hebbagodi police said Biocon's security personnel received the call saying the bomb would go off any time.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the call was made from a public phone near Biocon.
