He was Rajani's colleague

BANGALORE: Shashi-bhushan (64), a former conductor with BMTC, was a stage artiste as well who knew Tamil superstar Rajanikanth during the actor's days as a fellow bus conductor.

His daughter Ashwini, who was injured, lost not only her father, but also her husband Manjunath. Ashwini's daughter Snehashree is in a Hosur hospital with severe injuries.

Krishna Rao, Shashibhushan's brother-in-law who was injured, lost his wife Suma, brother Srinivas and sister-in-law Rohini as well as his sister Manjula and her husband Shankar Rao.
