Traditional art, craft work on display at Dastkari Haat

Panaji: Dastkari Haat, an exciting crafts bazaar, will be held at the International Centre Goa (ICG) at Dona Paula near here from October 22 to October 29 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly Vijayadevi Rane and ICG president Pratapsingh Rane will inaugurate the crafts bazaar at 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 21.
A range of baskets, stoles, scarves, saris, embroidered work, traditional art on lifestyle accessories, funky jewellery and shimmering hand woven and hand printed textiles will be on display.
Interactive workshop and discussion with crafts persons will be held everyday from October 22 to October 29 from 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
Cultural programmes will be presented on the occasion.
