Aegis acquires Actionline Argentina

MUMBAI: Aegis, a global outsourcing services company and part of the Essar Group, on Tuesday announced that it had entered into an agreement with Y&R Inversiones Publicit-E1rias, S.A. and its business partner to fully acquire their jointly held business process outsourcing (BPO) company Actionline in Argentina for an undisclosed sum. Actionline Argentina combines an offering of traditional contact centre services and enhances with the capabilities of data base management for onshore clients.

Actionline Argentina's senior management, lead by CEO Fernando Padron, will continue to spearhead the business. Actionline's ongoing operations in Chile and Brazil are not impacted by this transaction.
