Vision launches second phase of OMR project

CHENNAI: Vision India Real Estate is implementing the second phase of its project at Padur on the Old Mahabalipuram Road, in Chennai, designed as villa apartments. The project “Gem Grove”, executed in alliance with the Chennai based Gem Group and MYS Architects, will have 712 apartments in six blocks in two phases. The project, spread across 6.64 acres, will have a total built-up area of eight lakh sq. ft.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Ilan Elad, Executive Director, Vision India Real Estate said the first phase of the project consisting of three blocks would be ready for occupation by July 2012.

Announcing the launch of the second phase R. Veeramani, Chairman Gem Group of Companies, said the housing units would be offered at the rate of Rs. 2,650 per sq. ft. for bookings made on or before November 5. Around 400 apartments were being offered under the second phase, he said.

MoU with BIG TV

Meanwhile, Vision India has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Reliance BIG TV, the DTH arm of Reliance ADA group, to provide the Gem Grove residents, a satellite TV service.

According to Nagarajan Kanthan, Regional Head (South), Reliance BIG TV, the partnership would provide an opportunity to ensure that the occupants of this project were offered the best in class DTH services.
