Tvm wins title

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram won the overall title in the South Zone School Games held here on Wednesday.

Thiruvananthapuram, which came first in 10 events, logged 148 points to finish first. Ernakulam came second with 102 points followed by Kottayam with 60 points.

The teams finishing among the top three in all disciplines are eligible to take part in the State chool Games. Competitions were conducted in kabaddi, tennis, table tennis, kho kho, handball, volleyball, football, basketball, chess and cricket.
