COIMBATORE: Democratic Youth Federation of India has sought total implementation of equitable, uniform system of education. In a release the organisation urged the State Government to disband all school education boards while implementing the equitable, uniform system of education. It also urged the Government to strictly enforce the recommendations of the Justice Govindarajan Committee on school fee. The other demands of the organisation include formation of school management committees with parents constituting 75 per cent, immediate filling up of vacancies in Government school, early implementation of Sethu Shipping Canal Project and initiation of action against schools charging fee in excess of the recommendations of the committee.
