TN, Karnataka post wins
KOCHI: Karnataka men and Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh women posted two wins each in the league phase of the 21st Federation Cup throwball championship which began at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium here on Thursday.
S.A.S. Navas, Assistant Commissioner of Customs, inaugurated the tournament.
The results (league): Men: TN bt Chattisgarh 15-12, 11-15, 15-10; Karnataka bt UP 15-0, 15-1; AP bt Kerala 15-0; 15-10; Karnataka bt MP 15-7, 15-4; Delhi bt UP 15-3, 15-2.
