MUMBAI: The Bombay Stock Exchange sensitive index, Sensex, ended 95 points lower on Friday to close at 20165.86 against 20260.58 on Thursday on profit booking across sectors. It erased most of the gains made during the week. Analysts said the selling pressure increased on lower than expected quarterly results by Wipro and weak opening in European markets. TCS, on the other hand, had posted better than expected results late on Thursday.

The wide-based National Stock Exchange's Nifty closed at 6066.05 against 6101.

Out of 30 Sensex scrips, as many as 22 were losers while the remaining eight ended in positive territory. .
