Souvik, Riya top seeded
KOLKATA: Souvik Chowdhury and Riya Dutta of Hooghly district received top billing in the men's and women's categories in the State and inter-district table tennis championship, which will be held at the Khudiram Indoor Stadium here from Thursday.
The organiser, Bengal Table Tennis Association, informed of receiving around 700 entries for team and individual events. In all 18 district teams will feature in four team events – men's, women's and junior and sub-junior boys' – and 11 individual events, which will be played over five days. The individual finals will be played on November 1. — Principal Correspondent
