Udhagamandalam: With less than a fortnight to go for the first anniversary of the deluge which claimed many lives in the district, the residents of Udhagamandalam got a scare on Tuesday following a sudden downpour. It threw normal life out of gear. For the period ending 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday, Udhagamandalam recorded 40 mm rainfall.
