Forest Cell arrests three persons

Bangalore: The Criminal Investigation Department's Forest Cell on Thursday arrested three persons on charge of illegal possession and sale of tortoise and pond terrapins. Muniraju (35) of Kolar and Devaraju (30) were arrested while they were allegedly preparing to sell 16 tortoises and four pond terrapins in K.R. Puram. Shivakumar, awatchman at the Gulbarga High Court bench, was arrested in Mulabagal for possessing 10 pond terrapins.
