DPS (South) wins

Bangalore: Delhi Public School (South) and Mary Immaculate HS won the boys' and girls' championships as the Rotary Indiranagar-conducted inter-school basketball tournament concluded here on Thursday.

Kedar's 17-point effort in the boys' final saw DPS narrowly overcome SJIHS 31-30.

Mary Immaculate had it relatively easy staving off Bishop Cotton Girls School 31-21. Sneha led the scoring for the victor with 13 points.

The results:

Boys: Final: DPS (South) 31 (Kedar 17) bt SJIHS 30. Semifinals: DPS (South) 29 (Sachin 9) bt PPEC 26 (K. Rishik 10, Rishab 10); SJIHS 31 (Uday Kumar 9) bt HJKP 16 (Pavan 9).

Girls: Final: Mary Immaculate HS 31 (Sneha 13) bt Bishop Cotton GS 21. Semifinals: BCGS 23 (Lopa Mudra 10) bt Stella Maris HS 21 (Pratiksha 9) .
