Stalker attacks woman

HYDERABAD: A private company worker, Maddileti, 35, attacked his colleague, Nagaratna, 33, whom he had been pestering to love him for quite some time, before attempting suicide by consuming pesticide at Gandhinagar in Balanagar on Friday. The accused followed her while she was going to her workplace and attacked her with a hunting sickle. As the woman fell on the ground after suffering a bleeding wound on the neck, the accused gulped pesticide he was carrying with him. Passersby rushed both of them to Gandhi Hospital.
