Road over bridge to be opened for Deepam festival

Tiruvannamalai: One of the two road overbridges (ROBs) under construction on the ring road would be temporarily opened in view of Karthigai Deepam festival, Collector M.Rajendran said on Wednesday.

After visiting the construction sites, he said that the bridge coming up between Tirukoilur Road and Vettavalam Road would be temporarily opened in view of festival that begins on November 12 and ends with lighting of Maha Deepam on November 21.
Another bridge in December
“Another bridge coming up between Tindivanam Road and Vellore Road and located behind the Collectorate complex could only be opened for traffic in December after completion of all the works,” the Collector added.
Superintendent of Police M.Panidiyan and Divisional Engineer, Highways, Balasubramanian were present.
