Heroin seized

CHENNAI: Nine hundred and seventy-six grams of heroin, valued at about Rs.5 lakh in the illicit domestic market, was seized from two persons at the private bus terminus in Koyambedu here on Tuesday. The two were arrested and remanded to judicial custody. One of them was a Sri Lankan, according to a release issued by the Chennai Zonal Unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau.
