PALAKKAD: Work on a heritage museum will begin soon near the Rock Garden at Malampuzha, near here. District Collector K.V. Mohan Kumar told mediapersons here on Thursday that the first phase of the museum would cost a sum of Rs.35 lakh. The project is being implemented by the District Tourism Promotion Council. The District Collector said it would take about six months to complete the project. The Thrissur-based Costford will design and construct the museum. The Heritage Museum will depict the history, culture and art of this agriculture-based district. It will also reflect the social life of the district and its land relations, the District Collector said.
