KADAPA: There is no necessity to classify Scheduled Castes at a micro-level and the Usha Mehra Committee did not recommend micro-classification and hence the issue did not come up in the Parliament, Mala Mahanadu (Jupudi Prabhakara Rao group) State general secretary N. Chennarayudu asserted on Saturday. Opposition The campaign of Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi president Manda Krishna Madiga for micro-classification of Scheduled Castes would be strongly countered, he told a meeting at YSR Memorial Press Club here. The support of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and leader Ramvilas Paswan and Leftist leaders K. Narayana and B.V. Raghavulu would be taken to counter Mr. Manda Krishna's attempts for micro-classification of SCs, Mr. Chennarayudu said. Mala Mahanadu district conference would be held at Ambedkar Bhavan here on November 11, he stated. Mala Mahanadu leaders Narasimhulu, Sudarshan, Venkatanna and Rajasekhar participated.
