THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Department of Commerce, University of Kerala, organised a pre-seminar session here on Friday ahead of the 33rd All India Accounting Conference to be held on November 13 and 14. The event titled ‘Incessantness' included technical sessions on ‘corporate governance and business ethics', which was chaired by K.S. Chandrasekhar, director, Institute of Management in Kerala, and ‘convergence of accounting standards' chaired by S. Kevin, director, TKM Institute of Management. S. Suresh, chairman, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Trivandrum branch, delivered the keynote address. The valedictory function was presided over by G. Simon Thattil. School of Management Studies professor C.V. Jayamani delivered the valedictory address. The 33 {+r} {+d} All India Accounting Conference and International Seminar on Accounting Education and Research will be jointly organised by the Department of Commerce and Kerala Branch of Indian Accounting Association.
