Marungapuri records 120 mm rainfall

TIRUCHI: Marungapuri recorded a maximum rainfall of 120 m.m. in the last 24 hours ending 8 a.m. on Saturday.

The following is the quantum of rainfall recorded in the district (in mm) ; Manapparai 57.4; Lalgudi 25.2; Thathiengarpettai 16; Kovilpatti 15.2; Vathalai Anicut 15; Ponnaniyar dam 13.6; Pullambadi 12.8; Nandhiyar head 10; Navalur Kottapattu and Thuraiyur 8 mm each.
