THRISSUR: A galaxy of stars, including multiple World champion M.C. Mary Kom and internationals L. Sarita Devi, K.C. Lekha, Aswathymol, R.L. Jenny and Aswathy Prabha, will be seen in action in the 11th National women's boxing championship which will be held at the Lulu International Convention Centre here from December 5 to 10. Over 300 boxers from 30 teams, including Railways and Police, will figure in the event. “We plan to have the bouts in two rings but we might settle for one in the air-conditioned hall,” said Paul Puthur, the championship's general convenor, on Monday. — Special Correspondent
