Laxmiram, Mounika are best athletes

HYDERABAD: Laxmiram of Bhavan's College and G. Mounika of OU Engineering College were adjudged best athletes in the men's and women's sections respectively at the inter-college athletics meet which concluded at Artillery Centre here on Tuesday.

The results (winners): Men: Hammer: Praveen (Bhavan's) 17.87m. 10,000: P. Sandeep (MVS College) 37:58.80s. Triple jump: N. Mallesh (Nizam's) 12.3m. 110 m hurdles: Vijay Singh Thapa (Avanti) 21.22s. 100m: L. Raju (GCPE) 11.5s. 400m: K. Ramulu (Arunodaya) 49.20s. 1500 m: K. Ramesh (Govt. Degree College, Mdk) 4:05.8s. High jump: T. Kannan Ram (Loyola) 1.67m. 4x100m relay: SCR 47.80s.
