Kasaragod: Solidarity Youth Movement, one of the organisations that has been fighting the cause of victims of suspected Endosulfan pesticide spraying, will take out a march to the Head Post Office here on Thursday seeking a complete ban on the pesticide and rehabilitation of the affected families. The march will be inaugurated by veteran journalist O. Abdurahman. Solidarity State president P. Mujeeb Rahman, environmentalist C.R. Neelakantan, documentary producer M.A. Rahman, senior journalist K.M. Ahamed and Anti-Endosulfan Campaign Committee chairman Narayanan Periya, , will join the march. “It is a blot on democratic India that it is adopting a pro-Endosulfan stand at a time when hundreds in Kasaragod are leading a life of trauma and misery,” said V.P. Ashraf, district president of Solidarity.
