Kalam to deliver RGNIYD lecture on November 11

CHENNAI: Former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will deliver the first lecture of the ‘Eminent Speaker Series' of the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur, on November 11.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, RGNIYD vice-president C. R. Kesavan said the Eminent Speaker Series, the first of its kind for the country's youth, would create an appropriate platform for the youth through interaction with prominent youth icons once in three months.
This endeavour is to facilitate the youth to realise their potential through exchange of innovative ideas, RGNIYD Director P.Michael Vetha Siromony said.
Educational institutions desirous of sending students for the lectures should contact the institute.
The inaugural lecture would begin at 5 p.m.
