KHAMMAM: The National Book Trust (NBT), New Delhi, in collaboration with the district administration and Vijayawada Book Festival Society will conduct a book fair christened “Khammam Book Festival” at the Pavilion grounds here from November 14 to 21.
At a press conference held here on Wednesday District Collector N. Nageshwara Rao said that the book exhibition would provide an opportunity to the people of the district, particularly the students, to gain access to a wide range of book collections and enrich their knowledge base.
The NBT book fair officer-in-charge Pattipaka Mohan said that the exhibition will be inaugurated on November 14 coinciding with the Children's Day and National Book Week celebrations.
The book exhibition is being organised as part of the endeavour of the NBT to promote reading habit.
The exhibition will be kept open from 2 pm to 9 pm daily.
District Tourism Officer Suman Chakravarthy and others were present.
