Guntur
Guntur: A hoax bomb call made to Repalle railway station created panic among passengers travelling by the Repalle-Guntur passenger train. Railway police who were alerted by the station officer immediately halted the train at Vejendla station and carried out extensive search in the train. Finally, it turned out to be a hoax call and the police allowed the train to resume its journey to Guntur. Railway police said that the call was received at Repalle station at 10.32 a.m.. Police sources said that a prankster might have resorted to the mischief and the call was traced to a PT coin box.
