GURGAON: Banking on her experience, Laura Davies overcame her lack of practice at the DLF Golf and Country Club and returned a sensational seven-under 65 to grab the lead after the opening round of the $300,000 Hero Honda women's Indian Open here on Thursday.
The veteran Englishwoman displayed a flawless performance in her first-ever outing on the course.
