AIADMK cadre send telegrams enmasse

MADURAI: Scores of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) cadre, here on Friday, sent enmasse telegrams to President Pratibha Patel seeking dismissal of Union Minister for Telecommunication and Information Technology A. Raja from the Union Cabinet.

The party's urban district secretary K. Raju and State Students' Wing leader R.B. Udhayakumar led the campaign.

Party general secretary Jayalaithaa had asked the cadre to send telegrams en masse to the President in connection with the alleged scam in allocation of 2G spectrum.
