Mamata hits out at Left Front

KOLKATA: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee criticised the Left Front government in West Bengal on Saturday for imposing additional Value Added Tax.

The government had accumulated an overdraft of Rs.1.96 lakh crore in the past 33 years of power in the State, she said, adding that it had been putting increasing financial burden on the people to cover up its financial mismanagement. - PTI
