HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Cricket Association will felicitate and present Rs. 5 lakhs as a special gesture to V.V.S. Laxman, who happens to be the only Hyderabadi to play more than 100 Test matches, according to D.S. Chalapathi, HCA secretary. The function will be held at the end of the on-going Test match here. “We will also present Rs. 3 lakhs to left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha,” the Secretary said. In a welcome gesture, HCA will also present promising batsman B. Sandeep Rs. 1 lakh for scoring a century on Ranji debut against Jharkhand last week.
