MLA, councillor spar in public

Bangalore: Shanthinagar MLA N.A. Haris and Domlur councillor Geetha Srinivas Reddy, on Sunday, had a public spat. The spat was about construction of a compound wall around a burial ground in Domlur.

The two claimed to be working in the interests of the residents and levelled charges against each other.

While Ms. Reddy claimed that the slum dwellers, who lived behind the burial ground, had no access road, Mr. Haris said the burial ground lacked maintenance.
