Thumping win for Indian Bank

CHENNAI: Left-arm seamer V. Rajinikanth picked up four wickets for 35 as Indian Bank beat Grand Slam by 160 runs in a match of the TNCA two-day league-cum-knockout tournament on Monday. Chasing Indian Bank's 291, Grand Slam folded up for 131 in 61.4 overs.

In another match, M.R. Muthupandi struck an unbeaten 84 (118b, 11x4, 1x6) in Aruna's four-wicket win over Jolly Rovers.

The matches between Parry's and IOB and Globe Trotters and Falcon ended in a draw due to inclement weather.
