Chhattisgarh wins boys' title
MADDUR (Mandya District): Chhattisgarh spoilt Karnataka's party winning the final super league match to clinch the boys' title in the 13th Federation Cup National throwball championship for boys and girls here on Tuesday.
Karnataka girls, however, claimed the title with an all-win record.
The results: Semifinal league: Girls: Haryana bt Andhra Pradesh 25-14, 25-12; Karnataka bt Delhi 25-12, 25-17; Delhi bt Andhra Pradesh 25-12, 25-11; Karnataka bt Haryana 25-19, 25-27, 25-21.
Final standings: 1. Karnataka (6 pts); 2. Haryana (4); 3. Delhi (2).
Boys: Karnataka bt Haryana 25-22, 25-19; Chhattisgarh bt Delhi 25-18, 25-15; Haryana bt Delhi 25-22, 25-23; Chhattisgarh bt Karnataka 26-24, 26-24.
Final standings: 1. Chhattisgarh (6); 2. Karnataka (4); 3. Haryana (2) .
