Rs. 55.29 lakh revolving fund given

Assistance:Collector A. Suganthi giving away assistance to a benificiary in Pudukottai on Tuesday.
PUDUKOTTAI: Revolving fund and economic assistance are being provided by the Pudukottai district Central Cooperative Bank to the women SHGs for improving their economic activities, said Collector A.Suganthi here on Tuesday.
Presiding over the 57 {+t} {+h} All India Cooperative Week celebration, the Collector said 3,419 women SHGs have opened accounts with the bank. She said the cooperative societies were providing agricultural loans to farmers. Mrs Suganthi distributed revolving fund of Rs.55.29 lakh to 34 women SHGs and Rs.1.85 lakh as individual loans to 17 persons. She presented shields to the eight best cooperative societies.
