In step with Chopin

BANGALORE: A unique Indo-Polish event, An evening of Chopindia Music and Dance, has been organised at the Alliance Francaise on Thursday evening.
The works of Frédéric François Chopin, Poland's celebrated composer and virtuoso pianist, will be performed by Jerzy Sterczynski, himself from a family with a long musical tradition.
Dancer Madhu Nataraj and STEM Kampni will present choreographed dances to the marzurkas and waltzes.
The performance has been organised jointly by the Bangalore School of Music, The Embassy of the Republic of Poland, The Indian Council of Cultural Relations and Alliance Française de Bangalore.
The event will start at 7.30 p.m. with Mr. Sterczynski playing the best of Chopin.
