AIADMK stir against Minister tomorrow

CHENNAI: The AIADMK will stage an agitation at Salem on Thursday against Agriculture Minister Veerapandi Arumugam for meeting a murder case accused in Salem Central Prison.
In a release on Tuesday, Ms. Jayalalithaa, party general secretary, stated that soon after receiving information about the visit of the Minister to the prison in an official vehicle, the party had condemned the act. But, Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi did not react to the charges made by her. Demanding the ouster of Minister, the party will hold the agitation before the Collectorate.
