KOCHI: Rahul (64) and Paulose (3-23) sparkled as Elamakkara's Bhavan's Vidya Mandir defeated Edathala's Government HSS by 35 runs in the Century CC's all-Kerala inter-school cricket tournament at the St. Albert's College Ground, Kaloor, on Friday. The scores: Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad 142 for six in 20 overs (Ryan Rasheed 68, Adarsh 37 n.o.) lost to Hill Valley HSS, Thrikkakara 143 for six in 19.1 overs (Melvin Sunny 33, Pranav Babu 31). Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara 161 for four in 20 overs (Rahul 64) bt Government HSS, Edathala 126 in 18 overs (Suhail 50, Paulose three for 23). Tt tournament The Y's Men's Club of Cochin West is organising a table tennis tournament for clubs in the mid-West region, comprising Ernakulam and Idukki districts, at the Regional Sports Centre in Kadavanthra (Kochi) on December 4 and 5.
