Woman robbed

Chennai: A woman was allegedly robbed of her handbag containing three debit cards, mobile phone and some cash at Thiruvanmiyur on Friday evening.

According to sources, R. Sundari (50) of Tiruvalluvar Nagar was returning home from work when a motorcycle-borne youth snatched her handbag and escaped. She lodged a complaint with Thiruvanmiyur police.
