BANGALORE: The curtain-raiser event of the tenth annual International Entrepreneurship Awards and Events - Pioneer 2010 – will be held at Christ University Institute of Management here on November 22. An initiative of the Christ University Institute of Management, Pioneer seeks to promote the entrepreneurial spirit in young minds and encourage them to live their dreams. On the occasion, chairman of Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Co. Ltd. (Café Cofee Day chain) V.R. Siddharth will launch the Incubation Centre for entrepreneurship development. Pioneer is an annual awards function where the entrepreneurs under various categories, who have achieved exceptional success, will be awarded. On IT/ITES sector This year, the award will focus on IT/ITES sector, which is the single largest contributor to the nation's GDP. The selection for the Best Business Achiever will be based on personal interviews by the students and a detailed evaluation process.
