Praneetha completes double

Mysore: Top-seeded C.S. Praneetha completed a fine double by winning the girls' under-14 singles title on the final day, beating second-seeded Kavya N Kumar of Karnataka in the final 6-4, 6-1, in the AITA Talent Series tennis tournament for juniors sponsored by Rotary Mysore at the MTC courts here on Saturday.

Praneetha thus completed a fine double by winning the girls under-14 and under-16 singles titles.

She had won the under-16 singles title on Friday beating Kavya N Kumar in the final 4-6, 6-2, 7-6(2).
