National integration camp from tomorrow

SRIKAKULAM: Nehru Yuva Kendram will organise a national integration camp from November 23 to 29 here with the association of the district administration. NYK district coordinator K. Venkataramana said as many as 400 youngsters, including 150 from other States such as Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Jammu and Kashmir, will participate in the camp which was aimed at creating awareness among youth about culture of other parts of the country.

“National integrity acts like a strong foundation for the development the nation. Students will be explained about the great culture and tradition of the country during the week-long training programme,” said Mr. Venkataramana. According to him, the camp will create nationwide opportunity to the rural youth for their participation in national integration activities. According to the tradition of the programmes, the participation of youth will be of a totally inclusive nature of our society that would include all castes, creeds, linguistic and regional groups.

The camp will create quality opportunity for young participants from different parts of the country to live, interact and learn together in an environment of mutual love and respect and also to understand and appreciate people living in different parts of the country.

Youth rally

NYK will organise a cultural youth rally in Srikakulam on Tuesday. The training classes will be conducted in Bapuji Kalamandir and District Training Centre in Etcherla, 10 km away from the town. NYK invited students of local colleges to participate in the cultural programmes to be organized every day.
