Two killed, one injured in accident

RAJAPALAYAM: Two persons were killed and one seriously injured in a car-bus collision near here on Thursday.
The identity of the victims, all travelling in the car, was yet to be ascertained, the Rajapalayam Deputy Superintendent of Police, R. Rajagopal, said.
The car was proceeding towards Madurai from Courtallam when it collided head-on against a State-run bus at around 2.45 p.m.
The injured, who was admitted to the Government hospital at Sivagiri in Tirunelveli district, was referred to the Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital.
