MADURAI: Rudset Institute offers a month-long free training programme in ‘domestic electrical appliances repairing and servicing' from the fourth week of December. The course, open for men and women, is sponsored by National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC), New Delhi. It would cover topics such as functioning and repairing of gas stove, hand pumps, taps, mixie, grinder, water cooler and electrical switches. Those in the age group of 18 to 45 years with a minimum educational qualification of Standard VIII could apply. Applications containing details such as name, age, address, educational qualification and experience should reach the following address before December 12 with a self-addressed Rs. 5-stamped envelope: The Director, Rudset Institute, Airport Road, P.T.C (P.O.), Perungudi, Madurai 625 022.
